Anna VanderPoel

Anna VanderPoel is a highly accomplished paralegal who brings a wealth of expertise to Childs Law Group. She is an invaluable resource to our firm, bringing top-notch abilities, detailed knowledge about the court, numerous professional connections, and strong work ethic to the service of our clients and the support of our attorneys.

Anna started out as a legal secretary in 1980. Soon after, she decided to become a paralegal. In 1985, she graduated from Fresno City College with an A.S. in Liberal Studies and a paralegal certificate.

Over the last three decades, Anna has built up an impressive array of experience in the Fresno legal community. Prior to joining Childs Law Group in 2006, Anna worked for Dianne R. Ophelia, a highly regarded Fresno attorney and a Certified Specialist in Family Law; was a Judicial Assistant for Commissioner Denise Whitehead, who is now a Judge of the Fresno County Court; and worked for various other Fresno attorneys in the areas of criminal defense, family law, personal injuries, juvenile law, and landlord-tenant disputes.

Anna loves her job, but when she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and children-three stepsons, a stepdaughter, three daughters, and one grandson.
